Marcus Boesen Memorial Award

Criteria:  The Marcus Boesen Memorial Award is made to a SDCPA member who shows outstanding contributions to the overall development of students, to their educational institution, and to SDCPA and student affairs.  Must be employed in the first four years in a student personnel related profession at a South Dakota post-secondary institution.  Individuals are nominated by the general membership and the nomination must be accompanied with three recommendation letters from the nominator, a supervisor, and a peer.

Patrick Merrigan Award for Distinguished Service

Criteria:  The Patrick Merrigan Award for Distinguished Service is made to a SDCPA member who has exhibited outstanding leadership within the individual's institution and area of responsibility and who has significantly contributed to the profession and to the SDCPA.  Individuals are nominated by the general membership and the nomination must be accompanied with three recommendation letters from the nominator, a supervisor, and a peer.
